Why Families Trust Us With Pomona Felony Bonds

In 20+ years of business we have helped 867+ clients, and we open each felony call with one free step: checking how the 2026 Los Angeles County schedule treats the charge.

We Tell You When You Do Not Need a Bond

Many felony codes carry Book and Release: the jail books the person, then lets them leave without bail on a signed promise to appear. If yours is one, we tell you and sell nothing.

Agents Who Know Pomona City Jail and Courthouse South

We post bonds at 490 W. Mission Blvd., the Pomona Police Department's city jail. Pomona Courthouse South, 400 Civic Center Plaza, hears criminal cases, and its clerk opens at 8:30 a.m.

Realistic Timelines, No Guarantees

In our experience, release takes 2 to 6 hours once the bond posts. Sundays and holidays do not count toward the 48 hours PC 825 allows from arrest to arraignment.

Transparent Pricing, No Hidden Fees

Pomona felony bail bonds carry a standard 10% premium, so $30,000 bail means a $3,000 fee. You see that fee and the payment plan in writing before you sign.

No Renewal Premiums Since 2022

Felony cases can run past a year. Under PC 1276.1, one premium covers the agreement until the court exonerates the bond, so you owe no renewal fee in year two.

Felony Charges We Post Bonds For

Each card names the code section and how the 2026 Los Angeles County felony schedule treats it before arraignment. An enhancement or supervision status can change that, so we confirm yours by phone.

Assault using a deadly weapon other than a gun falls under PC 245(a)(1), with $30,000 in money bail for 2026. Since it is a serious felony, a judge can set less only after finding unusual circumstances under PC 1275(c).

PC 273.5 covers injuring a spouse, partner or co-parent. Bail is $50,000, or $100,000 after a qualifying prior conviction within seven years, such as PC 245. PC 1270.1 bars own-recognizance release before an open-court hearing.

Grand theft under PC 487(a) means taking money or property worth over $950. County judges placed it under Book and Release for 2026, so by default the person goes home on a promise to appear, and you may need no bond.

HS 11351, possessing or buying certain controlled substances to sell, carries Book and Release for 2026. If officers seek a weight enhancement under HS 11370.4 for over one kilogram of heroin or cocaine, bail becomes $10,000, and a bond can cover that.

On a felony warrant, bail is the amount the judge endorsed on it under PC 815a, if the offense is bailable. The county's $0 designations cover warrantless arrests only, and PC 1269b lets the jail accept that endorsed figure by bond.

On Felony Probation, Parole or PRCS

Felony probation, parole or PRCS status sends a Book and Release charge to Magistrate Review, and no bond can post before arraignment. A probation violation alone follows PC 1203.25: release on own recognizance by default, and any bail on it is cash only.

Three Simple Steps to a Bail Bond

1

Initial Payment

Phone (888) 998-9511 whenever the arrest happens. Once you know the bail amount, you review and sign the agreement, then make a low down payment toward the standard 10% premium.

2

Customized Payment Plan

We split the remaining premium into a written payment schedule built around your budget. A long case adds no second premium, since California outlawed renewal premiums in 2022 (Penal Code 1276.1).

3

Securing Release

A licensed agent files the bond with the jail or station holding your relative. That facility sets its own release pace, and we keep your family posted until your relative walks out.

Areas We Serve

Our agents write felony bonds for Pomona arrests and for jails across Los Angeles County. Across the San Bernardino County line, we handle arrests held at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

Felony Bail Bond FAQ

Start here if a relative faces a felony charge. We base each answer on state law and the county's 2026 felony schedule, and we check your charge by phone at no cost.

A felony bond is a surety insurer's guarantee to cover the bail if the defendant skips court, and you buy it with a premium. After a missed date, PC 1305 gives 180 days, plus five with mailed notice, to return the person so the court can vacate the forfeiture.

Only when the charge carries money bail. Offenses the county's Pre-Arraignment Release Protocol labels Cite and Release, or Book and Release, carry $0 bail. For Magistrate Review offenses, a magistrate can grant release, impose conditions or hold the arrestee for arraignment, so no bond posts first.

Expect a $7,500 premium on a $75,000 bond at the usual 10%. Veterans, union members and private-lawyer clients who qualify pay a filed 8% rate, or $6,000. The $75,000 amount matches the 2026 schedule's guideline for money bail set at arraignment on a Magistrate Review charge.

By phone: call (888) 998-9511, day or night; our bilingual agents take applications by phone or through the site form, so you can begin from home. Bail Bonds Pomona posts bonds at Pomona City Jail, the LASD jails and West Valley Detention Center.

A court may deny bail for capital crimes on evident proof. For violent or sexual-assault felonies, or felonies where the person threatened great bodily harm, the state constitution requires clear and convincing evidence showing a substantial likelihood of such harm. The 2026 schedule bars pre-arraignment release on special-circumstance murder.
