Why Pomona Families Choose Us for IRC Bail Bonds
Bail Bonds Pomona has operated for 20+ years and counts 867+ clients helped. You get the same five commitments on an Inmate Reception Center bond as on any other.
Every cost explained before you sign
The premium is a percentage of the bail amount, 10% at our standard rate. Your agent explains every charge before you sign, so no fee surprises you. See our bail bond costs.
One premium for the whole case
Since January 1, 2022, Penal Code 1276.1 bars California bail agents from charging any renewal premium. The premium you agree to at signing stays the only one, however long the case runs.
Payment plans built around your budget
Clients who qualify pay a low down payment, and the remaining premium goes onto a written payment schedule. Tell your agent what you can manage, and we build the plan around it.
We deal with the paperwork and the jail
Your agent completes the bond forms once you call and files them with the facility holding your relative. The jail controls posting and release, so we report progress instead of promising a time.
Bilingual agents, se habla español
Our agents include bilingual speakers who can explain the agreement and the release steps in Spanish or English. Tell us which language you prefer when you call.
Inmate Reception Center Facts for Pomona Families
The Inmate Reception Center (IRC) is the Sheriff's Department (LASD) booking and release facility in downtown Los Angeles. Facility details below draw on LASD, the City of Pomona or the LA Superior Court.
Address, phone lines and visiting
You will find IRC at 450 Bauchet Street in Los Angeles, ZIP code 90012. LASD lists Booking at (213) 893-5327, Release at (213) 893-5347, the Cashier's Office at (213) 473-6049 and Inmate Property at (213) 893-5352. It marks IRC as temporary holding with no visiting.
Pomona City Jail first, then any IRC transfer
The city calls Pomona City Jail the usual booking site, where people without medical problems await arraignment at Pomona Superior Courts unless they post bond or bail or get cited. LASD's family guide for arrestees with medical or mental-health needs says to ask the city jail about moving to IRC. Neither source says which arrests move on.
Finding out where your relative is
Phone the LASD Inmate Information Line, (213) 473-6100, and give the person's complete name along with a date of birth or a date of arrest. LASD says records are not available for bookings from the last 2 hours, and it will not alert families when an inmate changes facilities.
Neighbors on Bauchet Street
Men's Central Jail sits at 441 Bauchet Street, and LASD lists Twin Towers at 450 Bauchet too. The LA Superior Court lists its Central Arraignment Courthouse at 429 Bauchet St. The Pomona courthouse is Pomona Courthouse South, 400 Civic Center Plaza.
Bail, premium and inmate-account money
Bail is the amount set for release, and our premium is a percentage of it. A deposit to the person's LASD trust account, which LASD takes online through Access Corrections, goes to that account. It does not pay our premium, so keep the two apart.
Three Simple Steps to a Bail Bond
1
Initial Payment
Phone (888) 998-9511 whenever the arrest happens. Once you know the bail amount, you review and sign the agreement, then make a low down payment toward the standard 10% premium.
2
Customized Payment Plan
We split the remaining premium into a written payment schedule built around your budget. A long case adds no second premium, since California outlawed renewal premiums in 2022 (Penal Code 1276.1).
3
Securing Release
A licensed agent files the bond with the jail or station holding your relative. That facility sets its own release pace, and we keep your family posted until your relative walks out.
Areas We Serve
Pomona families in any neighborhood can call us about a relative held at IRC. These pages cover several of the neighborhoods we serve, with local details for each area.

Inmate Reception Center Bail Bond FAQ
These answers cover common questions about bonds and release at the Inmate Reception Center. Some bookings need no bond, so check the Pre-Arraignment Release Protocol first.
How much is a $1000 bail bond?
The premium on a $1,000 bail bond is a percentage of the bail, and 10% is our standard rate. On $20,000 bail, that premium is $2,000. Ask an agent to work out your exact amount, then see our bail bond cost page.
How long does it take for an inmate to be released after bail?
No one can promise a clock time. In our experience, release falls in a 2-6 hour window, but processing at IRC can take longer, and LASD controls release. LASD lists a Release line at (213) 893-5347. See what happens after posting bail.
How can I tell if someone has bonded out of jail?
Use the inmate finder on lasd.org, or call LASD at (213) 473-6100 with the person's full name and a birth date or the arrest date. If we filed the bond, your agent keeps you posted until your relative walks out.
Does your bond go down when you stay in jail?
Time in custody does not lower bail by itself. Someone who cannot post bail gets an automatic review of the amount within five days after the court first sets it, unless they waive it (Penal Code 1270.2). A defense lawyer can also ask for a new hearing.
Is my loved one still at Pomona City Jail or transferred?
LASD does not notify families when it moves an inmate. Call Pomona City Jail at (909) 620-2131 for the court date, then LASD at (213) 473-6100. Arraignment is due within 48 hours after arrest, with Sundays and holidays left out, and can extend into the next court session (Penal Code 825).
