Why Families Trust Us With North County Correctional Facility Bail Bonds
Your relative sits across the county, and you need answers from Pomona. Across 20+ years and 867+ clients, we have settled on five ways of working with each family.
We Explain Bail to First-Timers
An agent explains what the bond promises the court and defines terms such as exoneration, which means the court has canceled the bond. First-time callers can ask as many questions as they need.
Apply by Phone or Through the Form
You can begin from home, with no trip to Castaic. Give us the application details by phone or through the site form, and an agent goes over the agreement with you.
Updates at Every Stage
We phone you once our agent posts the bond with the Sheriff's Department (LASD) and again at release. If LASD slows things down, we share whatever the jail tells us.
Both Sides of the County Line
One call covers NCCF and West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, because we work in Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County. A case across the county line needs no second agency.
Respectful Contact With You and Your References
Cosigners and references hear from us for real reasons, such as a court date or a missed payment. We keep each call courteous and do not pester the people you listed.
How Bail and Visits Work for Someone Held at NCCF
LASD runs NCCF and sets its rules on visits and release. From Pomona, you can get the booking number by phone and add money to an account online.
Where NCCF Is and Who Runs It
NCCF's address, per LASD, is 29340 The Old Road in Castaic, ZIP 91384. Its custody page files NCCF under the Pitchess Correctional Facilities heading, beside Pitchess Detention Center North (29320 The Old Road) and South (29330). LASD uses one inmate information line, (213) 473-6100, for the whole group.
Getting the Booking Number First
Call (213) 473-6100 with your relative's full name and a birth or arrest date for the booking number, which we use to check bail. LASD sends no notice when someone moves between jails. Until LASD classifies someone for permanent housing, they cannot take calls or visits, and LASD says that can take two weeks to a month.
Weekend Visits at Pitchess
LASD lists public visiting for its Pitchess facilities, NCCF included, on Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Each general-population inmate gets at least two 30-minute visits a week, at the jail or by video. Attorney visits at NCCF run weekdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Putting Money on Their Account
Online deposits go through Access Corrections, (866) 345-1884, and Pitchess visiting center kiosks accept cash during visiting hours with a government photo ID. From California, mail a cashier's check or USPS money order of up to $200, payable to your relative's name and booking number, to the P.O. box on LASD's custody page.
Asking the Court for a Lower Bail
PC 1270.2 entitles anyone held before conviction for lack of bail to an automatic review of the amount no later than five days after the first bail order, and the defendant can waive it. A defense attorney can also ask for own-recognizance release under PC 1270 at the courthouse hearing the case, such as Pomona Courthouse South.
Three Simple Steps to a Bail Bond
1
Initial Payment
Phone (888) 998-9511 whenever the arrest happens. Once you know the bail amount, you review and sign the agreement, then make a low down payment toward the standard 10% premium.
2
Customized Payment Plan
We split the remaining premium into a written payment schedule built around your budget. A long case adds no second premium, since California outlawed renewal premiums in 2022 (Penal Code 1276.1).
3
Securing Release
A licensed agent files the bond with the jail or station holding your relative. That facility sets its own release pace, and we keep your family posted until your relative walks out.

Questions About NCCF Castaic Bail Bonds
Find your relative and the bail amount first. The answers below then cover what a bond or cash bail costs and the California rules on refunds and cash deposits.
Is my loved one still at Pomona City Jail or transferred?
Ask Pomona City Jail, (909) 620-2131, whether your relative is still there. If the jail will not release a relative with medical or mental-health needs, LASD's special-needs guide suggests requesting a quick move to the Inmate Reception Center. For NCCF and other Sheriff's jails, call (213) 473-6100.
How much would I have to pay on a $5000 bond?
At the standard 10% premium, a $5,000 bond costs $500. Eligible clients make a low down payment and settle the balance through a written plan. A filed 8% rate may apply to union members, veterans, service members and clients with a private attorney. Cash bail means the full $5,000.
How much is bail on a $1000 bond?
The $1,000 is the bail itself. You can deposit all of it as cash bail or pay a bail agent $100, the standard 10% premium on file with the California Department of Insurance. Under PC 1276.1, that single premium lasts until the court exonerates the bond.
How much is a $500 cash bond?
You pay the full $500, since cash bail carries no percentage. A defendant's own deposit can go first to fines, costs and restitution (PC 1297). If every court date is kept, whoever posted for someone else is repaid in full after judgment, on a receipt claim.
How to get out of paying bail bond?
Before posting, a defense attorney can seek own-recognizance release or lower bail. Posting earns the premium. An agent who surrenders someone before court must refund it, keeping costs only after proving far higher risk (10 CCR 2090); a judge may order it returned if a surrender lacked good cause (PC 1300(b)).
